Where to now folks?

At the moment, the number of fines we know about (actually) is statistically miniscule compared to the number of us who saunter over all year round.
Just like the Brits, we think that we will be fined the moment we enter territorial waters, and be pilloried in the town stocks, bastinadoed, and sent packing to the boos and jeers of the offended Absurdistani population.

Well, just like using a phone while driving, a capital offence if ever there was one, the chances of being given a fine are really rather small.

I for one will stick 500 euros in a sock at the back of the forecabin locker, and, having written the cash off for a season, I will recover it at lay up to have a grand large night on the town with my lovely crew.
If it is spent assisting Absurdistan Customs performance bonus pot, then I shall be sanguine about it.

And never return.

So now that Ostend has been scuppered where shall we all go? Or does the panel think that we should just ignore it?

will see what transpires i have a full 130 lts o/b at the Mo but expect to go Edna May.
to date we have never had a problem with officials & most are helpful & will take coffee ( we have good coffee ;)).
the Official line must be as stated as any official in the UK would do the same. what happens in reality is open to the individual officers attitude towards the reception he gets when o/b.
