One way to find out is to check www.marinetraffic.com and find suitable company having an AIS transmitter. Of course I might push the transmission OFF button if stocks are low. - In every case our bar is seldom the closest for members of this forum.
I bought the kit mainly because we cross the Finnish Gulf a lot from Helsinki to Estonia and traffic is intense in all directions. Should be even more useful for you guys cruising the English channel.
...and the newly installed engines have now been happily running 40 hrs since launch 9/7. Topping 28 knots, which isn't bad for an old lady like this.
