I have had very good service from the Singer centre in Southend.
Been there a looonnngg time and know their stuff.

The chap who services the machines at my SWMBO work place will always get spares, he is a one man band so is possibly a little more flexible than a service centre, if you get no joy there.
He does everything from little baby machines up to full industrial jobbies, mainly he does the small business servicing.
If you have no luck I can ask her to give me his details and post them on to you.
