Where to get a Folding Bathing Platform ??

Naff question guys, but I have been actioned by SWMBO that for next season I must fit a bathing platform at the back of my sailboat.
I dont really have a problem with that but would prefer that it retract/fold out of the way when I am doing the more salilng related activities.
However, all the bathing platforms I have been able to find (Stainless steel with inlaid teak) seem to be fixed in the horizotal position......
So the naff question is "does any one know where I can source a <u>folding</u> bathing platform about 50cm by 50cm" and keep both SWMBO and me happilly married. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Local SS guy should be able to knock one up for you, don't think I’ve ever seen one commercially available.

Just buy some hinged brakets to connect the platform to your transom, I've seen some in a local chandlers, and support it when it's down with some 5mm wire from say your pushpit......'swat I'm gonna do..... save some money on berthing fees too!

This one seems similar to the one in the previous post.... here ..... for 129€. Wonder if it works like a deckchair and the support folds away..... Says that the support can be fixed above or below which would be useful..... For interest look at the price difference between Germany and the UK.

That's interesting and raises the issue of the fact you'll need a ladder in the water as well as a platform just above the water. That's a lot of hinges.
