Where to buy Genuine SJCAM 4000 Wifi

I want to get a SJCAM Sj4000 Wifi, but its hard finding a place that is guaranteed to sell a genuine one. Even the ones on Amazon often have the right picture, but the reviews sometimes say a fake is shipped. (although Amazon have a habit of applying reviews to the wrong or generic product so its hard to tell). Likewise, getting one from ebay is a lottery.

Anyone have any suggestions? Or do I just rely on getting to send it back to Amazon if it turns out to be a fake?

I got mine at Amazon - and it is genuine! I seem to recall sjcam were saying they were sellling it 'fulfilled' by Amazon.

The problem is that there are billions of people selling these on Amazon. Even the ones fulfilled by Amazon (which are largely Hong Kong sellers with stock in Amazon's warehouse) have reviews saying that they received a fake. One 'Genuine Sj4000' listing actually refers in the text to a SJ5000 so god knows. I suppose you can always send it back if its fulfilled by Amazon. The problem is that people use 'SJCAM' as a generic name so you have to be careful.

Can you remember which supplier it was you used?

pvb's solution of going to the 'proper' SJCAM shop seems the safest option, but its an expensive one.

I am not really answering to your question but if you can affort it go for the sj5000 wifi plus. I bought one some months ago. The quality of the 2K video it offers is simply perfect. Pictures are very good too. I bought it from Amazon too.

Agreed.. if you dont mind the 3 week wait for delivery, I would suggest Banggood. I've used them a fair bit over the years and never had any issue with anything.
