In the process of replacing manual anchor winch with a Quick power one.

Seem to be finding difficulty in finding an online supplier for the cable.

The manual says 5AWG 16mm² , failing that I would be looking for 4AWG 25mm² .

Can anyone recommend a place to order cable online?

Cable.

You will be able to get suitable cable from most electrical wholesalers I have just bought 35mm at 4.99 per metre + vat from the electrical centre.
You will require tri rated multi strand (the usual 7 stand 6491x will work harden in time due to vibration) this is used in panel wiring They will also be able to supply you with any lugs that you may require.
Hope this helps

I have the heavy duty crimpers required for the terminals which you can borrow for a charity donation. I live near the non tidal Thames, may be handy depending on exactly where you're based.......

I have a question, the manual says use 16mm2, does the manual stipulate that for your particular length of cable or just generally.

Quick is quite sensible in its recommendations on cable size, usually quoting a size for up to 20 metres cable length and clarifying that this is the complete circuit (from and to the battery).

Absolutely.

Just looking at the instructions on line and assuming I am looking at the right ones

They specify 16mm² (AWG 5) up to a total length L= 20m

In the wiring diagram they show how to calculate L. In fact 5 individual lengths are totaled.

I am sure the OP has read all of this. He just wants to know where to buy the 16mm² cable.
Several places suggested in earlier posts.

Indeed i have, i reckon on mine being two lengths of 7-8M, maybe 10M to be safe, which means I need 20m.

Thanks for all the advice guys, its at times like this that the forum is so useful!!
