Where to buy C4 duoprops

Hi all,

I purchased a Targa 40 with kad 44 a few month ago and on sea trial with empty tanks she managed to get 3600 revs which is a tad low for a kad 44. Antfouling is pretty rough and needs sorting this winter which would have helped a little.

However since being fully fuelled and loaded up for cruising she has dropped to 3450 to 3500 revs and maxes out at 27 knots. The hull is clean apart from the flakey antifoul.
I have check with fairline and the boat was factory shipped with C4 props. The boat currently runs C5 props so my conclusion is to buy C4's or have the C5's repitched which would be more budget friendly. Any advice on where to get hod of 2 sets of C4's at a good price or thoughts on repitching the C5's would be appreciated.

I picked up a set of C4's on ebay for a good price but you'll have to be patient especially as you need 2 sets. The beauty of this is that you should be able to sell your C5's for similar money meaning the swap should cost you pretty much nothing. Might even make a small profit if the bidding works in your favour. Otherwise try somewhere like Coastal rides or Keypart.


edit: Just seen that you are in Belgium so postage will need to be considered if buying from the UK but at least the exchange rates are in your favour!
