Where to buy 32mm X 6mm genoa cars T Track?

Hi Folks,
I have a 32mm (width of T piece) X 6mm (depth of T piece) genoa T track fitted to my boat (I would guess original) with a pair of newish Barton cars, the cars both stick halfway along the track making trimming difficult.

The barton cars are listed as 32mm but have plastic inserts which are in poor shape. I ordered some new inserts thinking this would help but the internal measurement of the new ones is just 5mm (the old ones must have been sanded down or something to make them fit) and they won't fit at all. Does anyone know of a genoa car that is 32mm X 6mm that might fit my track?

Might well have been from a company called NEMO. Have you tried contacting Comar, giving them details of your boat, e.g., the hull number / year of manufacture?

No idea where to find the hull No., if indeed it has one, I believe they were fitted with Nemo gear, where to find it or something that fits today however.......

Just Google Nemo Yacht equipment. They have an excellent site (comes up at the top of list). Their UK agent is Calibra Marine in Deacons boatyard at the top of the Hamble. Always helpful in my experience.

I believe that older Lewmar cars and tracks were 1/4 inch 6.25 mm thick X 32 mm

You might find that the Barton genoa car that was fitted to Westerly Konsorts may fit your track. Trafalgar Yacht Services have Westerly spares. The item is about a third of the way down the page. Look for the Konsort/Barton item.

Harken track is 32mm x 6mm, so Harken cars would fit your track.

talk to barton - I had the same problem with an old "Main" track and new barton cars. - barton trimmed the plastic inserts down to the correct size for the track.
