I'm really rather proud of my varnished teak shed, and I'm thinking of moving it to the front garden so its more on display, is that a good idea , should I have it on a swinging base so that I get perpetual sunshine through the windows or opt for the more traditional hardcore base?

If you put it on a concrete base you stand a chance of blocking one or more of the 27 holes under the waterline. Also your water maker won't work.

Normally, I'd put it in the front garden where everyone can enjoy it. However, I gather that Barking has a bit of a shed theft problem and the police seem powerless to stop it.
