Irish sea, and if you count Northern Ireland as "Irish coast", then that's a good start, but doesn't win the pint because it's not specific enough.
It is West Maiden and the old lighthouse, a few miles NNE of the entrance to Larne Lough, and that ferry is presumably on its way to Stranraer. In its wake you can just make out East Maiden and the new lighthouse. The other yacht is a Nicholson 30. Given the age of the lighthouse, it is presumably possible to land on it. This link is to a page that describes the flora and fauna of the Maidens reef.

Good one. But watch out for the submarines in that locality, they can (and have been) a lethal hazard - allegedly, he added as he remembers the official denials.
