I often wonder where a few old boats have gone.
Lady Myra, a gaff rigger rebuilt on the Hamble in the late 1980's by Bob Gingal a shipwright, I know Bob passed on, but have never seen the boat since.
A Colin Archer look alike, about 60ft, can't remember her name, ashore in Port Hamble for a few years, around about 1990, welsh chap, Dave, hurt his back fitting a new stem, bloody great chunk of timber that was, he planned to make it a party come charter boat, never knew what happened to him or the boat.
There must be many of us reading here that have come to know an old boat and wondered what happened to it? Perhaps add yours onto this thread to see what turns up?
