My local village of Bosham got hit pretty hard today, both the local pub and sailing club got a flooded.

I think the Raglan got it bad as well, my friend in Emsworth posted some pictures in facebook and it looked like they had all their carpets out in the street after a bit of a soaking! No beer in Bosham tonight :-(
 
Friend of mine chose the tranquility of the A27 at the bottom of his garden. Bet he is having a good gloat now.

I take it you are high and dry.
 
Yep our house is on small hill, if global warming were to rise the sea levels our house would be on a small island in the middle of Chichester Harbour!

Feeling a bit dry in the sense that the only decent drinking huts in Bosham are flooded and closed
 
Yep, the Raglan copped it, and a lot of the houses built on the old Northshore Yard site- wave break at roof height there. The Sussex survived ok, being that bit higher.

the houses up towards Dolphin Quay were looking up at their boats, but tide/surge stopped about 6" short of overtopping their walls. Dolphin Quay flooded as was all housing round Tide Mill Ponds.
