And is this the tightest slipway to boat ratio you have seen?

It was just coming up from low water and there was plenty of green slim under tyre, made for some very exciting braking! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Can't tell where it is ....but there is another at Port St Mary on the Fairest of Isles which is about as wide, but has a drop on both sides, and is a lot longer,,,,, so even more care needed, It is an old original one, not the posh wide one in the boat park built in the non too distant past. Maybe I should post a photo for comparison. Like tomorrow.

Like I said. here's the pic of the PSM old slip.. The building on the left is the old lifeboat house. and there is an awkward little S bend to get onto it nowadays. The pic doesn't do it justice. Little used now.

try making it a tad narrower about a quarter mile longer and add a 90 degree bend at the end and you have................Queenborough on the Swale.
