Is it part of the bay - ie if you were standing on the quay can you see it over the other side, or is it a bit further round?
Haven't been there for 20 years (aaaaaaaaah that makes me feel too old) so not a bad guess!
Sailed late August round there and it was like February for weather! My first night passage was Rhum to Tobermory in a strong wind. Put me off sailing for months!
Lovely area. Must go back.

Yes - lovely phote... Duntrune Castle, Loch Crinan - part of the magnificent view you get, as you emerge from the west end of the Crinan canal, on a fine day; makes it all worth while...!
