No, be fair, it wasn't "empty", there were a few people there. You could spot them by their "Exhibitor" badges!

You may be right. But I have been going to London Boat Shows since the eighties and I have never, ever seen a "Guiness Bar" that empty - Saturdat, Sunday or Weekday!

Agreed it was.....the whole "Guinness bar" debate is a big one, there has not been a decent Guinness bar since we left EC....SBS does not have it any more, and ExCel does not have it, I dont know what we have to do to bring back the proper rammed bar under the escalators at EC, do you remember the old Thursday nights where you really could not move, maybe its the smoking ban....... (running for cover...)

I may be mistaken, but I seem to recall a very packed out Guiness Bar at Excel over the last few years.
Sorry, but it it just didn't do it for me.
Old EC had atmosphere, today there was was no atmosphere, just a sad empty show.

There was no Guinness bar this year there was a bar that served Guinness but no Guinness bar..and it will be the same it 08
