I saw him and Mrs EME at the weekend. He had his phone cut off, long story about phone company incompetence, so you cannot call or text on his UK number. His email is fine
They were just back in France at the weekend, having done 10 days in US at Miami boat show etc. Their new DMX lights are selling like hotcakes in USA so they have been mad busy (I have the first installation, youtube below. The idea is that each light gets its own RGB instruction from the computer so they don't all have to be the same colour, so you can make "sweeps" . Also they have a lovely new colour screen waterproof lighting controller called steve, and sound to light set up, which I have a vid of but not yet on youtube)

That sound to light demo on Friday night was v impressive. We just need to persuade Lumishore to extend that sort of functionality to their surface mount lights. Ideally, before 24 March...

Here's a quick and very amateurish iphone video of Lumishore's/EME's latest lights with sound-to-light. There is a 3.5mm jack plug on the back of the new colour control screen and you simply connect a stereo phono lead to that, connected to line out on the back of the boat's B+O amplifier. From the control screen you can allocate each of R G and B to low, medium and high frequencies of music, to alter the colour mix, and you can adjust sensitivities etc but I have not tried all of that yet.
Don't worry, I'm not going to go crazy with these things and have them blaring out every night in every busy anchorage. They're for empty anchorages late at night, after a few bottles of wine, for a quick bit of Saturday Night Fever on the aft deck
