I knew that at first were introduced channels 1-28 with a 50kHz spacing and 4.6Mhz spacing for duplex frequencies, and after a first period they saw that a 25kHz spacing between channels would work and introduced the others from 60 to 88
Have channels 29 to 59 ever existed ? For what reason the second group of channels was numbered from 60 upwards and not 29, 30, .. ?
