Once again I made a mess of both the VOR and the SOL by going on holiday and leaving the boats NUC for a week. This time I only managed to get on line once while away. In the SOL I left it on TWA and it performed a very neat complete circle.
When I came back I was about 103,000th and 1200th. I sailed casually to the finish and they both arrived yesterday. However I finished about 53,000th and 800th. What has happened to the 50,000 and 400 that were ahead of me. Has there been some major disaster that wiped them out? Should we inform the Coast Guard? This is a lerge proportion of the overall fleet - where have they all gone!?
Oh well. Off to Bugis Street now to see if that nice girl I met there in 1973 still works there.
