Where have all the boats gone?

Came around the bend on the Itchen to Shamrock Quay and all the boats were gone Wasnt untill i saw the dredger moored up Still dont know where all the boats have been moved to though.

Had i quick blast up to Hamble (had to circle a small boat trying to start the OB to make sure they were ok) then headed back. I only went down to check the boat and run the engine for a bit before she comes out this week. Nice ride out, even better coming back with the wind and tide at 35 mph Bit nippy as i didnt have all me gear with me (i will learn one day, hopefully not at my cost) Fortunately all other safety gear was left on board.

Only saw a couple of raggies, one cruiser and Mr Plod

What time were you out? I came up from the Hamble at around 1.30

I'm hoping for a few days blasting around the Dart/Start Bay mid December before mine coms out. Think my coat and multiple fleeces will be top of the list

I must have got to the Hamble at about 1, needed to get back to pick her indoors up from work at 3 I did see a few coming out from there, i was in me little maxum

You're out of season now, most are safely tucked up ashore for the winter from late Oct, early Nov to march/ April. makes for quiet boating for a few months - if you are well wapped up.
