I think this week sums up the fickle British weather.Ive just had 4 days to do a bit of sailing.Due to dodgy forecast at start of week I settled for day sailing instead of going anywhere.
Monday not a breath of wind allday until about 5 in the afternoon ,used the mirror flat calm and spring tide combination to update my memory on the sand bank off Cardiff ,made some notes about clearing lines etc .
Tuesday Rain and Gales,didnt bother.
Wednesday, Still strong winds but Sun out so sailed around local area in fine style with double reef main and handkerchief jib.
Thursday ,Ran down to Barry over low water on gentle North easterly jib poled out.Ran home again after lunch on gentle Westerly jib poled out again.
Things to do tommorow then back to the ho hum,I just thought I would make the 9 to 5 types jealous.
