Does anyone know a supplier or manufacturer of stainless tubular davits, other than simpson or whittal, 75 mm tubing or more, for 44 ft yacht please. Thanks JB.

Why not have some made at your local stainless steel fabricator?

Look under agricultural engineers in the yellow pages. The dairy industry use 316 stainless and I am sure that if you provide a drawing, they can make something for you.

You can quite often pick up very cheap stainless at scrap yards. We made a stainless launching trolley from scrap stainless for about £20 and it was perfect until some b#####d pinched it!

Yes, I agree, scrap yards have lots of useful stuff. Trouble is, for marine use, 316 is the grade to go for. Not too sure how to tell the grade unless there is a ticket.

Send me a sketch...

I have a good friend who specialises in Stainless welding, and would be happy to quote for fabrication if you can't find what you're looking for.
