The sailmaker fitted a new clew block to my mainsail but it's way too small for the rope with the spliced eye to fit around. I returned it and now need a bigger clew block.
The original was big enough but gubbed, so the sailmaker replaced it with a smaller one??? The rope diameter is about 14-15mm and with the eye it needs to be able to take about 26mm.
Any ideas please.
