Where can I find NASA?

I saw a post last week that referred to a problem that I think I have as well. The Target speed and distance meter on my boat is not behaving this year. I have tried clearing the impeller but the reading fluctuates and is always low as compared with the GPS, sometimes less than half. No, its not the tide!

When I had the impeller out for cleaning, I noticed that the shaft pin is very worn and the impellor rattles on the shaft. I suspect that a new shaft and pin are the answer. I tried to find the NASA website but the link from the search engine did not work. I found another link that did and got an e-mail address, but a message came back as undeliverable. Does anyone know how to contact them?

Have you tried calibrating it?
it explains how in the handbook which I dont have with me just now, but it involves pressing two buttons at once then pressing one or the other again to increase or decrease by 10 per cent each time, sorry I can't remember which, but if its fluctuating a lot when doing a constant speed then that is probably not the problem.
If you need instructions regarding calibration let me know and I will check next time I am at my boat

Thanks, but calibrating is not the problem, I do know how to do it once I find the instruction book. Doing 6 knots, the reading was a steady 3, but then kicked up to 3.8 and down again. During the day, it reached as high as 5.6, but never for long.

Hope you have better luck than me. I sent my Clipper Depth off for repair to them and last week I was returned someone elses old and scratched unit. My plastic cover plate was not returned also. Someone must be giggling at getting an almost new unit - mine!.

I had same trouble and found the paddle wheel plastic had cracked, one magnet had got wet and disintegrated and it was showing half speed.

Thanks all, I phoned NASA on Tuesday afternoon and the parts arrived by post on Thursday. Don't know how much they cost yet as no statement was included, no doubt I'll find out when I get my credit card statement.

Lucky you!. I am in dispute (see above) with NASA. How come I send my unit for repair and the cost is £2.05 for 1st Class post, and they are billing me for £8.22 to return my unit?. Watch this space.(And this company!)

The site looked more like 'stopped construction' probably a few years ago.
