Where can i buy good copper rivits?

My supply of good copper nails and rivits is going down i wonder where the can be bought?

They do seem to be going out of fashion and as more and more small shops in Italy close their door to retier,or just stop trading as the rents rise.At one time i could find everything from red/white lead (very out of fashion) to new old bronze fittings!!

Now when i go back the shops are gone replaced with tourist things such as clothing, and the last of vin-olios turned into pizzerias.No nails rivits nor lead and no where to eat or fill my wine bottle.

Whats europe becomeing? Is there anywhere such things can still be found at normal prices?

For the first, try Classic marine or Anglia stainless ... classic marine still does red / white lead and old gunky classic boat things

As for the vin ordinaire from the cask, the small food shops, the personal service ... I think they've all moved to Borough Market

Try Starbucks Chandlery, Gravesend, Kent. Traditional chandlers with over the counter service. Sells rivets, roves etc by the kilo. White lead by the kilo, red lead and all other stuff - bit like an old fashioned chemist.

As im going to be closer to Hamburg than the UK on the way up to the Baltic it sounds interesting but after a look its a very slow site and no prices??Could mean its fanticy prices.

I will look at starbucks they at least have wi-fi with coffee!! At least if im stuck i could call them.

What age is your East anglian is she mk1 or 2?
