The boat is spending the winter afloat in Falmouth and is developing a healthy growth of fuzz on the Coppercoat.

I need to scrub this off before the season starts but cant find anywhere suitable.

I've seen boats leaning against the wall near Trago's and by the car park near the Chandlery, with sunk dingys and stiff brushes, but that’s a bit too hair shirt for me, I'm a soft southern boy used to a few facilities.

Is there nowhere with water and electricity suitable for a 1.7m long keeler, and the hire of a pressure washer would be nice.

Mylor or Malpas, the latter not until after March.

It's worth checking to see if Premier are doing a lift and scrub offer.

The dinghy park between Trago and the car park has a slip with walls to lean on, also a shed with power, but I have no idea whether you would be able to use it. Ask at the harbour office.

I am in Mylor and there is a very nice Cornish Crabber with Coppercoat being scrubbed off 50 yards from me.

Spoke to the owner. Only a little bit of slime after a year in the water, plus the beardie bits at the waterline.

Mylor Harbour have a seriously strong pressure washer!

Thanks for the input guys Mylor looks the favourite so far, but I'll check out Malpas and The Harbour Commissioners next time I'm down.

Is there nowhere suitable in the Ponsharden or Penryn area?
