BTW
You can't check the AIS this time - it developed a fault that has stopped it transmitting.

Cala Bassa !!

Yep - you got it - within 6 mins of my post.
It is Cala Bassa - just 102 miles from Sant Carles.

We spent a couple of nights there prior to a forecast of big winds in the western Med.
We were in Menorca a couple of weeks ago - 6m swells were forecast there for this morning.

Cala Bassa (in the pic) is in Ibiza which was due to have strong winds so we "decamped" and headed for the mainland.
Left Cala Bassa at 04:00 this morning and arrived in Denia a few hours later.
Big swells are still forecast for the next few days so we will probably "coast hop" back to Sant Carles for the last few days of our late season cruise.
We will have been away for about 3 weeks - a fantastic cruise taking in all three Baldrick islands and now some mainland marinas.

I have some great drone footage of our anchorages so I will compile a video and post it sometime if anyone is interested.

Always interested in your cruise reports, looking forward to it. Enjoy the latter part of your trip :D (y)

Go ahead M, you know that asking here if we are interested in boating drone footages is akin to asking alcoholics if they fancy another drink... :D

I know thought I had nailed-it last time - bloody AIS......
Yep
The AIS let us down as well, this year.
The TX wasn't working after we arrived in Palma Bay.

Just got home to SC after cruising via Denia and Valencia.
A friend lent me a GPS mushroom for my AIS and it works again.
So an easy fix for the AIS before our next cruise
