Are we mad to consider crossing on Friday, Yarmouth to St Peter Port. Winds look ideal, no sea to talk of. Storm expected in CI on Saturday night, so even if we only get to Alderney can pop down the Swing on Sat morning.
We have done this many times in our Bav 36 but the temperatures have never been so low. However, the winds in the middle of next week look good to make Brest before the SW kicks in. If not it looks like waiting at least a week for higher temperatures.

Looks like you'll have a great sail across... Perfect!

Leaving on a Friday though...

Looks as if, for the minute anyway, that the CI storm has disappated. Looking clement now right through to Monday and beyond

Take some tins of Ambrosia Rice Pud, for night watch warming purposes, and Go For It! Have a great cruise....
