As I understand it C-Map release the updated chart catalogue on or about 1st March each year but beware that not all dealers get the new release at once. Some seem to take a number of weeks to get organised.

Not a penny for the first year and then there is a subscription to navionics. As many times as I like for free is only for the first year.

I believe that it is the similar type to the one I get for my android phone App in that it is updating continually.
