I need to rig up some kind of launching dolly for my old style Avon Redcrest. I'm thinking either some kind of "plank" that ratchet straps on underneath, or something that utilises the existing outboard bracket.

I'm sure someone somewhere will have done this before...any ideas or pictures people?

Cheers!

Thanks, but I really want something that stays attached or at least would stow in the dinghy. I'm thinking about somehow locking the outboard bracket to the dinghy so it can't rotate (s/s pins or even padlocks) and then extending the wooden part out so it's almost as wide as the dinghy itself. Then adding a commercially available drop down pneumatic wheel on each end...

I got an old patio table with caster wheels in each corner. You can then load up with all your gubbins and launch the whole lot. If vthe patio table is the right size it can double up as a floor.
