I have decided that all this nonsense spoken of tillers being better, more pure, more fun, taking up less room in the cockpit etc., is just that, nonsense.

I saw today exactly what is needed. Bearing in mind that our hobby is steeped in history, and that we all sail fine vessels created by our engineering ancestors whose talents knew no bounds, I have today found exactly what is needed aboard my vessel to reflect the fine engineering heritage, the endevours of which we all enjoy today.

Wheel steering AND autopilot combined. Brilliant.

Just brilliant.

thats a very nice cockpit table you have much better than bennies normally have :D

Alan - brilliant find for Mr T.

Am I being tactless in observing, though, that that stay in hospital seems to have shrunk you to a third your previous size.

Alan,

I'm impressed with this bit of British engineering and if you raise the boom a little, think it will go well in the cockpit of Mr T. However, I'm a little concerned about the power requirements that the auto pilot may have. Looking at it, I would estimate it would need at least 4-500 PSI of steam. Where will you be installing the boiler?

I'm with you there James.... i'm also a victim of those monsters....

And as for the wheel steering.... pah...i'm more interested in the flippin enormous punch bowl over his left shoulder....

That's not a punch bowl, that's the development model for Full Circle's next generation goblets.

You should see the punch bowl though, it's MAHOOSIVE!!!
