Sorry, should have taken a photo before I left the boat

A Hessian-like tape wrapped around a rubber or plastic tube, and stitched to the lower edge of my spray hood. It's pushed into a plastic retaining strip that's screwed onto the coachroof.

What's it called and where can I get some?

Awning rail beading (for caravans). Luff tape (as on some sails).
