What's your longest stay in the same anchorage?

Call us lazy by all means . Just realised that in the past 6 weeks we've moved no more than a mile!

Lovely quiet anchorage; several tiny beaches literally within a hundred metres; supermarket, gym, eating places etc all within 10 minutes walk so ticks all the boxes

Hoping someone can beat this record? We are moving at the weekend, it's our luxury once every month or so marina night - oodles of fresh water and electricity, exciting stuff

I can't beat that at all. Best I did was four nights in Gott Bay, Tiree. 2 anchors out. Boat unmanned (but watched from a distance) for 2 days.

Four nights onboard, Bencik Turkey. Lovely secluded creek, but no access to civilisation.

Err 10 weeks at least in the Calivigny Cut off Calivigny Island sitting out hurricane season in Grenada.

Lots of cruisers activities, wifi, clean water and best of all enough breeze to keep things cool.

Cleaning the anchor chain is a right b***** though.

Four weeks in the UK, wunnerful with sailing dinghy, solar/wind/dongle/jerryjugs and big water tank ..

Abroad, just shy of three MONTHS yup, Puerto Rico.. Such is cruising. Only pulled in for petrol and water and a couple nights sleep ... And and... Stayed. Wunnerful too.

Punta Negra, Mallorca. Almost stone skimming distance from the infamous Magaluf but you'd think you were by a deserted island (during the week anyhow), simply lovely Shame to leave but the poor boat is crying out for a proper wash down and we're almost out of water!

9 hours sheltering from a F3 at Chaldock It was a long haul but very grateful for the hot meal and showers afterwards.

2 months, Puerto de Naos (or Puerto de Chaos as some call it), Arrecife, Lanzarote. 6 weeks of that I was on my own; dragged and re-anchored; fixed broken outboard (it was a very very long row to town); had to make frequent trips ashore with my trusty rusty baby buggy to buy bottled water and food. I was very rarely lonely- fellow cruisers made sure I got a tour of the island, beach parties etc. I loved it! (but don't tell my partner )

In Loch Scavaig, it's often far windier in the anchorage than it is outside. A SW 6 outside, mysteriously becomes a SW 8 in behind the island.
