But I'm pissed . . . it's usually 140 or 141 when sober . . .

Re: What\'s your IQ?

I got 136.

It tells me my Interlectual Type is
"Visual Mathematician"
However I did not go on to press the buttons which would give me a 15 page IQ report as that would have cost me money. Must get the kids and SWMBO to do it.

What result did you get Sybarite?

Re: What\'s your IQ?

133 but also v low compared to normal test conditions.

This is a very simple test, aimed at getting a quick result for the majority of the populace. with relatively few questions to challenge and differentiate upper level IQ. On this one, because there are so few challenging questions, you only have to get one or two wrong to downgrade by many points., A more normal test for people known to have higher level IQ levels would be more challenging, and hence more accurate.

Statistically, it means it will be quite accurate at median scores, but inaccurate at extremes. Don't take it too seriously, it's based on well known testing, but is not meant as an accurate test, more a fun thing.

133 (slightly drunk)

You are a Precision Processor.

This means you're exceptionally good at discovering quick solutions to problems, especially ones that involve math or logic. You're also resourceful and able to think on your feet.

Re: What\'s your IQ?

I got 144. I'm a "visionary philosopher (....??!!) who can see the big picture, think ahead of the game ... can draw on multiple resources to come up with great ideas ".... (doh.. I'm Irish ..)

Suggests I should be

archeologist
detective
psychologist
sculptor
architect
city planner
chief executive

I think I would settle for the last. (But would probably prefer the first). Any jobs on offer out there folks?

'I got' hardly linguistic genius!

given you can have multiple tries, and are told what the answers are after first try, 144 is quite low under these circumstances several hours later /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Cynic. It was a first time trial. I like to do QI tests fairly regularly. Keeps one in trim for job tests.

With respect to "got" - what would you have used to convey the same idea? As economically?

Shorty!

With the many bans, restrictions, etc put forward by fellow forumites mine is simple: No person under 192 cm allowed on the water. There, I'd nearly have the place to myself.

Re: What\'s your IQ?

My IQ's 183.5 as professionally tested when at school. Anyone taking an online or pencil and paper multiple choice test should remember the margin of error on these "waste of space" tests is about 40%. Someone scoring 100 on the Mensa test has a 99% certainty that their IQ is between 140 (marginal failure for Mensa) and 60 (marginal for ESN).

Re: What\'s your IQ?

136.... and 121 on test the nation, I think it puts me in the higher persentage of the country. I tend to fail at number sequences and lexicon.

But hey, I know weaknesses, on the other hand short change me and you will hear my lexicon.....
