What's the smallest self-tailer you can get?

Our self tacker is sheeted to a small (size 8) winch on the coachroof, conveniently positioned where you can reach it from the helm. I'd like to replace it with a self tacker to allow easy one handed operation. It seems that the smallest ST winch available is a size 16, which is too big. Has there ever been a smaller one produced, that I might pick up off eBay etc?

As an alternative you might find the smallest Barton Wincher fits your current winch

I had a similar problem with finding a small self tailer to fit on a pedastool which was sized for the original Lewmar 7 winch.

After lots of searching I found that the Antal XT16 self tailing winch has very similar dimensions to a lewmar 7 winch, maybe worth having a look to see if one could fit for you.

Same base and drum diameter as a 16ST Ocean (or 15ST EVO) but stubbier in height.

Base diameter 121mm vs. size 8 base diameter of 108mm

I bought a 2nd hand Gibb self tailer on this forum for my genoa reefing line. About a 3 inch D drum - 7STA I think.
