What's the latest from Gibraltar?

There are daily incursions into UK waters by Spanish government vessels. They are challenged and reported but nothing ever happens. The rest of the maritime world shrugs its shoulders and carry on regardless.

The border by land is generally quiet.

The Spanish foreign ministry continues to be their hypocritical stirring selves. The locals on both sides shrug their shoulders and carry on regardless....

The brand new RGYC yacht club looks lovely.

This is Spanish relate!

We flew out to Alicante 3weeks ago from Bristol with 3 lifejackets ,cartridge disconnected, in hand luggage on returning The Civil Gardia at Malaga airport were tested and found wanting. We had printed Ryanair document that says that 1 lifejacket and 3 cartridges are allowed per passenger, it does not state that they must be checked in hold baggage.2 crew left early and were stopped at security and told gas bottles not allowed, they called the Gardia over showed them the copy of Ryanair document, They were instructed to go to Ryanair desk and get paperwork date stamped, they were then cleared and returned without a problem Bristol.
I received text saying they had been allowed through, great I thought , no problem for me then! Wrong, We arrived at Malaga stamped the doc at Ryanair desk then to security and hit a brick wall, so to speak, called the top gardia honcho related what had happened on the Tuesday its now Sunday, told that was not possible, it couldnt have happened.I had an auto lifejacket with cartridge inside the bladder and it was detached inside the bladder, I had a spare cartridge that was seized and after 10 minutes discussion was allowed through beleive it or not with my Lifejacket and cartridge! I am all for security but at 72 I don`t think I fit the terrorist profile! Its the inconsistency that riles me.
