So the A became the B in 89 and the B was available in a range of outputs up to 200 wheras the A was only available as a 200. Also sdifferent compression ratio.

Guess that makes mine an A /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I think the A`s had a different cylinder head with pre heaters hence the lower compression ratio and I gather is the reason as Chris says they smoke like buggery on start up from cold. The B`s were much better behaved in that department but layed all manner of soot and [--word removed--] when coming up on the plane. Problem only sorted when the kad 42`s came out--but then many more problems /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
