Got red at the moment fading badly in the med sun. Doesnt show the red dust too much tho - bit worried ivory white might show the dirt. What does the team think?

Beige. Not too bright or garish on the eyes. Not so dark as to get hot in the sun. You don't really notice if it fades. Not so light as it gets to look grubby.

Our boat's name is Blue. It was very tempting to get a red sail cover with "Blue" on it in yellow letters, but we resisted.

If the boat is staying in the Med, I suggest cream, which looks very classy. Assuming the hull isn't anything other than white or cream.

How about a blue denim? Then when it fades in the Med sun and goes baggy and worn and full of holes you can sell it to Mr Levi for more than you paid for it to make a nice pair of expensive "new" teenagers jeans out of. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

White is the only colour for the sun IMHO all others attract the heat or fade badly Beige looks like c*ap after a year blue fades, Red goes blotchy pink! purple fades to pink. White is the only colour for the sunny areas of this planet! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif))

I have just bought some cream stuff to re-make my cover. My last two were white(well, off white in the end) and this is a good choice, as bird crap etc does not mark or stain it so badly.

Nah..... ended up with blue and white stripes. Great for cover, equal parts shade and light. Also got watercatchers...as long as we tie it up tight.
Only problem? We're a cat, so we look like a circus tent.....you may all laugh now, but you'll recognise us from a distance!!
