What's that big lump of concrete south of Calshot?

I noticed it in the background of a clip I took of a sloop making good progress south towards Cowes on Friday night. Apologies for the Red Funnel railing...

...actually here's a much better close-up from an earlier sail-past, I forget when...

...but nowhere on the internet can I find any mention of what it is. Anybody know? Thanks.

Fawley power station cooling water outfall

The intake is via the channel leading in from Southampton water

"Whight"? What's that?

Thank you gentlemen...I should have guessed the concrete belonged to Fawley.

Anybody know whether the grand redevelopment scheme for Fawley power station site is still being considered? Hundreds of luxury homes, and a sizeable marina, I heard.

When. Worked at Calshot we would windsurf around either the outfall or the Spit float bouy. The water around the outfall was always noticeably warmer than the surrounding area.
