I have a Sealine 305 statesman, 1988, full spec and lots of extras.
Im considering trading it in against a yacht, the broker is offering me an extremely low price.
WHAT IS IT REALLY WORTH.
Id appreciate any imput.

Seen petrols as low as 28K asking, diesels about 36K upwards, but thats just asking prices of course.
305 does have poor reputation for wayward handling, too easily blown about and too top heavy, so not that easy to sell i would imagine., especialy with petrols.

What engines have you got?

If it has diesels and is in good nick, its got to be worth £40k+ but as a past owner of one of these horrible boats many moons ago, I might even have chopped it in for a raggie myself, it was that bad. Not called La Cuenta, by any chance?

Hello jon.most people search the internet and periodicals to get a good idea on price.
If the boat has petrols it would sell better up river if airdraft is not problem .ie RYB on Thames.
Any oil burner will sell better down on coast.
Anything with diesels should sell.Worst news is, wrong time to sell anything. Need to wait for spring.

Just hold tight dear it will not be so rough when we get round the corner, trust me.
