I am planning a trip up to Ipswich soon, can anyone give me information about marinas and places to eat there?

2 marinas in the wet dock - Neptune and Haven - Neptune nearer the town, Haven slightly quieter. Enter the wet dock through the lock - call ipswich lock on 68 once through the orwell bridge.
Loch Fyne - seafood (2 mins from neptune)
Pizza express - 2 mins from neptune
Last Anchor - excellent but pricey - must book (in Haven)
Mariner (romantic) 2 mins from neptune
plus many others

The Loch Fyne used to be a brilliant fish restaurant before they bought it!
Frankly I have always been disappointed eating at Loch Fyne and not only their Ipswich outlet.
Nowdays I avoid them.
