What\'s in the locker?

Do you know or was the last time it was emptied so long ago that you can't remember. Mine I think has a dingy, 300 or maybe 400 meters of warps, 20 meters of chain a couple maybe 3 anchors, god knows what cleaning stuff, a spare boat hook, spare fuel etc…………. the list goes on and on

Anybody else with a similar situation (all of you I am sure)

Boatman, your very brave "emptying" a locker, you never know what might be down there. Thomas Cook are considering holding 2 week adventure holidays just to find the bottom corner of mine<s> I've told them that my insurance doesn't cover that type of reckless activity. I'm sure there's an old Original RN decca unit down there somewhere and before anybody says decca is finished "You never know" The Met Police even wanted to search for Lord Lucan, but gave up because they didn't have enough manpower. I suggest before you undertake such a large job, you should sit in the cockpit with a very large scotch and contemplate your actions? After all, if it starts to catch on we would all end up with a massive increase in Boat Jumbles,so that we can all trade each others rubbish.

well it could lead to a neutral cash flow.and satisfy the shopping urge at the same time.flog off the old gear and buy someone elses new (old )gear.instead of it all going to the chandleries.But don't rush to repaint the water line . it will be back to normal by next season.only positive thing is that it will mean you can repaint the locker.Have fun

If it's been in there that long I guess your dinghy will be pretty dingy by now!
