What's happened to Fletcher Boats?

Just wondering what has happened to fletcher boats? Last I heard they were producing low volume more boutique boats, but now their website seems to have gone!

Have they quietly gone bump?

Bearing in mind that owners “Wessex Bristol” are the corporate equivalent of a knackers yard, this sadly is not a surprise.

The management plan was to combine new craft builds and classics from Chichester. Sadly WB (who hold the companies IP) again had insufficient funds to support any part of the business. All reliable parties have stepped back. Hopefully the brand sometime soon will return and into secure business hands.
