yes a Peter Duck & looks to be moored & Methersgate Quay on the Deben

If I'm not mistaken she is the original Peter Duck. She was for many years moored at Waldringfield and boasted that very distinctive green livery. I always thought she looked a bit sleeker than her classmates as they seemed to have more freeboard. A very fetching image of her however it was produced.

It looks like a photo that's been given an "artistic" filter in Photoshop, but if you say it's not a photo, it's probably an acrylic copied from a photo as I can't imagine anyone having the patience to do all that rigging at anchor. Apologies if I've maligned the artist.

Yes, think likewise. The perspective is that of a camera lens, not an artist's eye. And unless the artist is John Sell Cotman or John Crome and the like, intent on communicating the vast Anglian skies, most picturists confine the sky to the top third and not the land to the bottom third ...

Typical jobbing picturist's boaty perspective is summat like

Looks like a composite picture to me. The hard edge on the tree line gives it away a bit and the lighting on the boat looks a bit 'wrong' somehow.

Very nice, though.
