You arrived at a mate's mooring that you had pre-arranged to borrow & there was another boat on it already?


To make matters worse, it turns out to be another forumite!





Well Savage Seadog was anything but savage when he found me eating sausage & onion srnies on "his" mooring. So I invited him to tie alongside & have a cup of tea. No naughty drinkie-poos for us doncha know?

Well, we had a good natter then he picked the mooring up from me & I cast off to catch the return thro' the Swellies after my very enjoyable supper break.

Dead simple ....

moor him off with a 'simple' line from your mooring .... and then charge him for any damage to your boat: fees seem to be £22 per inch damage.

Seen in a Welsh port whilst on holiday last week. Other photos and post to follow on trip up the Menai with Kawasaki.

That's the baby, that dreadful sprayhood has gone now tho'.

You could have waited until the tide was in, it looks much nicer then!If you'd been there this week you might have got a cup of tea, or even summat a bit stronger.

Qwite write. Have a penny bun. Mooring fees include a parking spot in the worlds best car park plus access to a locked dinghy shed - oh, and the right to blow Morse "B" on a fog horn to open the footbridge. Great place.
