On the PC I usually use XCWeather or Passageweather but I find them very hard to use on my Android screen. Anyone found one that works with small screen and big fingers?

Xc weather have an iPhone app that's very good. Turn phone to landscape and 5 day forecast for your current location is only one click away.
Does it not do android phones?

Mobile GRIB

Try an inexpensive Android app called Mobile GRIB. You can download weather forecasts for 5 or 7 days for your chosen area anywhere in the world. We've used it all over the Med and wouldn't be without it.

Are you using the low bandwidth version of Passage Weather? I do, on Android, and have no fat finger problems.

Obviously, both Passage Weather and XC are best viewed landscape.

If you don't mind a subscription SWIS is excellent.

+1

I get the daily email and use the weekend SMS alerts. Means I'm covered providing that there is some sort of phone coverage. If I cannot get email the txt usually gives me enough to make a go / no go decision.
