Hi I'm brand new to this Forum and hoping that some 'Biscay Cruisers' may be able to help me !!
Next weekend my family are about to start a three week cruise in our V42from the Morbihan and had been planning to head south down Biscay. I gather that La Rochelle and the surrounding area were hit pretty hard by the hurricane earlier in the year, which is exactly where we had been planning to visit (for the first time). Does anyone know how which marinas are accepting visitors and which aren't ?? We had wanted to visit Ile de Re & La Rochelle etc but obviously don't want the stress of not being able to get into Marina's !! If things are still fraught we'd sooner stay away, but conversely if you generally can get a place then we love to visit this area.
