What to keep tank from shifting?

Am refitting s/s water tank which I had to cut out from under berth in forecabin to repair. Have made new strong setup out of wood etc glassed in to hold it back in place again. To ensure really snug fit, I'd like to use something like inner tube rubber which I can glue in the corners & edges - but can't think what I could use that would glue in place - any suggestions?
Best I can think of so far is cork gasket material...

Sika flex (if you've got a tube on the go) or contact adhesive like the two pack one here from Seals Direct. Or maybe just inflate the inner tube.... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
