Not sure why that would make us all conceited?? Poss just the fact that radar has been discussed loads of times whereby under water lights are an altogether 'brighter' subject :p

Tee hee. I gotta admit, I haven't clicked on the radar thread at all. I ration/select the threads I choose to look at (else would spend too long on here) and the radar one didn't float my boat. Indeed it is an unanswerable question - lots of folks would put radar very high on priority list, way above uw lights (me included) and lots don't have one and manage perfectly fine, so there is no hope of agreement. Whereas with uw lights, er, oh buggger :D

What the forum generally says about me is that I am stuck in front of a computer looking for a displacement activity which, of course, serves to sharpen my focus on my actual work and allows me to come up with those elegant and intellectually satisfying solutions to legal problems which are my trademark. :D:D

...

Something like that anyway.

It could mean, no brains and the sun shines out your arse :D

I'm sure he does't mean it John, but it is very funny.

Great article in the mag this month.

You're right, I didn't mean it. I hope my sense of humour wasn't lost on anyone. I realised after making my post that this isn't the lounge, it's the mobo forum. I think I must be in the engine room part of the forum - it stinks of diesel, it's dark, and there's a tank bigger than my house with 'Fuel' marked on it  ;)

Oh, nearly forgot, if it were me I'd go for the radar and give the lights a very wide berth. But each to their own...

Yea but the underwater light thread, started about lights, then turned to sh!t, then hot tub, then back to lights, then spot the boat and back to lights.

Busy ain't it???

Boats got to look good,

No worries - I wasn't taking anything personally and anyway I'd take sun shining out of arse as some kind of compliment :D

I agree btw, as I said above, that radar is way higher in the pecking order than uw lights. But uw lights are still nice and i reckon anyone who thinks otherwise hasn't tried in that experience of a swim in warm water at midnight in a quiet anchorage. Or watching your OH/girlfriend doing the same wearing ahem appropriate attire for the moment. Or as happened to me in Lavezzi, watching a whole crowd of girls from the neighbouring boats jump in for a night time swim wearing ahem appropriate attire at about 2am after a heavy party evening among all the anchored boats.

Engine room discussions are going on in here (different thread though)... I nearly have jfm ready for speccing his next boat with twin, two-stroke Detroits.... the V12's are great little engines.... :)

We need pics jfm, otherwise we won't believe a word you say! :D

I think all it means is that we like to see a fight. The u/w light thread was sure to start a punch up between crusty old baggywrinkles like searush and bling queens like jfm so it was always going to be must see viewing.

As the Prime Minister Mr David Cameron stated recently

"We are all in this together"

which he must have copied from our incompetent minister of finance who said the exact same thing last year

further, I do agree that we should have a few pics of said events ;)
