What size Spinnaker & Pole

I have a 21' Jeanneau Sunway 21. halyard, pole mounts on mask etc but no pole nor sail. There are a few decent ones on Ebay as reasonable prices but I don't know what size pole and sail I should be buying. Any suggestions on foot size & liuff/clue etc?

Your "J" is 2250 so this will be the length of the pole, (mast to bow). 2" spinnaker pole will work, PM me if you would like a price.

The only other measurement I can find is the height from the deck to the fitting on the mast which takes the halyard, this is approx 6500, they are all the same so this may help with Spinnaker. This measurement is only a rough guess but should be good enough for someone clever to work out Spinnaker size!

Thanks for the link. I have just pulled out the handbook, translated into English and can only find the sail areas: Main 12m2, Gen 11m2 and Spin 25m2. Short of measuring the boat itself, am I safe in assuming that the pole must be longer than 'I' measurement. i.e. slightly longer than the distance from the mast to the bow?

The pole is the J measurement, front of mast to bow fitting, this will be the length of the pole if used as a Spinnaker pole. The I measurement is nothing to do with the length of the pole. See the below website for information on I, J, P and E.
