what size prop??

hi there.. i have an18foot plymouth pilot. a yanmar yse 12g to be fitted.. being a "g" model the reduction gear is 3.1, i currently have a 14x10 prop sat in my shed, would this do the job??

best go around boat yard as people are getting them ready to launch soon and ask.

prop issues

thanks for ur help guys, i used the prop calculator as suggested, the diamater of the prop is rather on the large side, i dont want to be using that size prop on my boat, they made 2 gearboxs for my engine (yse12) one is a 3:1 and the other is 2:1... can anyone suggest where i can pick up a working 2:1 gearbox?? much thanks
